Oracle MySQL是美国甲骨文（Oracle）公司的一套开源的关系数据库管理系统。MySQL Connectors component和MySQL Server component都是其中的组件。MySQL Connectors component是一个服务器组件；MySQL Server component是一个连接使用MySQL的应用程序的驱动组件。 Oracle MySQL中的MySQL Server组件的C API子组件和MySQL Connectors组件的Connector/C子组件存在安全漏洞。攻击者可利用该漏洞造成拒绝服务（频繁崩溃和挂起），影响数据的可用性。以下版本受到影响：MySQL Server 5.5.56及之前的版本，5.6.36及之前的版本，5.7.18及之前的版本；MySQL Connectors 6.1.10及之前的版本。

Vulnerability in the MySQL Connectors component of Oracle MySQL (subcomponent: Connector/C). Supported versions that are affected are 6.1.10 and earlier. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise MySQL Connectors. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of MySQL Connectors.
