Linux kernel是美国Linux基金会发布的开源操作系统Linux所使用的内核。NFSv4 implementation是其中的一个分布式文件系统协议。 Linux kernel 3.17.2及之前版本的SCTP实现中的net/sctp/associola.c文件中‘sctp_assoc_lookup_asconf_ack’函数存在安全漏洞。远程攻击者可借助重复的ASCONF块利用该漏洞造成拒绝服务（系统意外终止）。

The sctp_assoc_lookup_asconf_ack function in net/sctp/associola.c in the SCTP implementation in the Linux kernel through 3.17.2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (panic) via duplicate ASCONF chunks that trigger an incorrect uncork within the side-effect interpreter.
