Mozilla Firefox、Firefox ESR和Thunderbird都是由美国Mozilla基金会开发的产品。Firefox是一款开源Web浏览器，Firefox ESR是Firefox的一个延长支持版本。Thunderbird是从Mozilla Application Suite中独立出来的一套电子邮件客户端软件。 多款Mozilla产品的‘nsZipArchive::BuildFileList’函数存在安全漏洞，该漏洞源于程序访问不正确的内存位置。远程攻击者可借助特制的ZIP归档利用该漏洞造成拒绝服务（崩溃），或执行任意代码。以下产品及版本受到影响：Mozilla Firefox 39.0之前版本，Firefox ESR 31.8之前31.x版本和38.1之前38.x版本，Thunderbird 38.1之前版本。

The nsZipArchive::BuildFileList function in Mozilla Firefox before 39.0, Firefox ESR 31.x before 31.8 and 38.x before 38.1, and Thunderbird before 38.1 accesses unintended memory locations, which allows remote attackers to have an unspecified impact via a crafted ZIP archive.
