Mozilla Firefox、Firefox ESR和Thunderbird都是由美国Mozilla基金会开发的产品。Firefox是一款开源Web浏览器，Firefox ESR是Firefox的一个延长支持版本。Thunderbird是从Mozilla Application Suite中独立出来的一套电子邮件客户端软件。 多款Mozilla产品的‘nsXMLHttpRequest::AppendToResponseText’函数存在缓冲区溢出漏洞。远程攻击者可利用该漏洞造成拒绝服务。以下产品及版本受到影响：Mozilla Firefox 39.0之前版本，Firefox ESR 31.8之前31.x版本和38.1之前38.x版本，Thunderbird 38.1之前版本。

Buffer overflow in the nsXMLHttpRequest::AppendToResponseText function in Mozilla Firefox before 39.0, Firefox ESR 31.x before 31.8 and 38.x before 38.1, and Thunderbird before 38.1 might allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service or have unspecified other impact via unknown vectors.
